Steam powered pencil sharpener.
This is probably the slowest, least efficient pencil sharpener ever built... It could also be one of the most expensive one (unless Cartier just got into the pencil sharpener business). You can see it in action in this movie
I added a small pulley to the tractor so it could power the lathe at a reasonable speed using a round belt (it is just like a giant O-ring). The high precision jeweler's lathe vintage 1949, was given to Henner by a friend who found it in the trash! It came complete with a set of collets. The pencil, had to be shortened and then mounted in a Sherline three jaw chuck held in the lathe with an adapter.
