The new switch is in (and other distractions)!
Sometime during what is turning out to be one of the rainiest winter on record, I managed to install a switch on my ride on scale line (thus doubling the number of switches on the layout!). Click on the picture to view the gallery with more pictures.
My latest project is a variation on an old theme: powering a Lego locomotive with a Midwest Product steam engine. This version features an two truck design, a proper gas burner and an exhaust separation tank. The later traps most of the liquid water and oil coming out of the steam engine before they have a chance to drip onto the rail or other surrounding Lego parts.
