In 1997 shortly after the Pathfinder mission successfully landed the first radio controlled vehicle to ever drive around on the surface of another planet. Hotwheels released this cool set of toys. it came with a capsule with removable heat shield, two scales of landers, and two scales of rovers.
I have to focus on the large rover because it is, by far, the most interesting piece in the set.
The rover has working suspension. It even has a small springs in the body for some of the suspension points. The x-ray spectrometer is die cast metal and the antenna folds down. The "mars rocks" were not included.
The vehicle has nothing in common with any other vehicle produced by Hotwheels. It has very intricate features and It is slightly smaller than the average Hotwheels car.
